Christopher Paul Boyd, 21 years, passed away on April 15, 2014 with his family by his side at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO due to injuries from an auto accident.

Chris was born September 11, 1992 in Porterville, CA to Jeffrey and Leanna (Hambelton) Boyd. He graduated from Norwood High School.

Chris was a Musician! He loved playing music! He could play the guitar and just about any other instrument and he wrote his own music. Chris loved to be outdoors too.

Chris was an organ donor. In his passing, he has possibly provided life for not just one, but many. His love and legacy will live on in his family and many friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his great grandparents; Mary and George Boyd, Emert Lambert, Janie Richardson and cousin, Andy Harris.

Chris is survived by his parents, Jeff & Leanna Boyd, Norwood, MO, siblings; Joseph and Skyla Boyd, Norwood, MO, his girlfriend; Kendra Moore, grandparents; Otis & Lois Boyd, Norwood, MO, Robert & Ladena Severson, Ava, MO, and Terry Hambelton, great grandparents; Paul Uhlmann, Drury, MO and Una Uhlmann, Mtn. Grove, MO and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Chris will be Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Evans Cemetery east of Ava. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd.
