Christopher Wayne Petro, 20 years, passed to heaven on February 26, 2009 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, MO. Christopher was born August 14, 1988 in Springfield, MO to Harold and Debbie (Bricker) Petro, Jr.

Christopher was a Painter. Christopher was a Christian and was recently Baptized. He received his GED and had a graduation ceremony in 2005.
He loved being a painter and his work can be seen in and around the surrounding areas. His hobbies were fishing, sports,playing cards with his friends,drawing crosses and his passion was cooking. Christopher enjoyed creating and building with his hands. He loved being around nature and especially the water.

Christopher was preceded by maternal grandfather, Tommy Bricker, paternal grandmother, Joyce Coomer, aunt Mealonie Bricker and cousin, Christopher Malley.


Christopher is survived by parents, Debbie Petro and Harold Bill Petro, Jr. & Shannon Brown, Ava, MO, brother, Michael Petro, Theodosia, MO, grandmother, Betty Bricker, Ava, MO, grandfather, Harold Petro, Sr., Mtn. Grove, MO,uncles, aunts, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Christopher will be Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2009 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Vernon Fuller and Pastor Kevin Pittman. Family requests memorials to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
