Clara Harrison, 93 years, passed away on October 8, 2010 at Marshfield Place in Marshfield, MO.
Clara was born March 5, 1917 in Ozark County, MO to Talmon and Fannie (Bragg) Hicks.
Clara was a resident of the Ava community for a few years to be with her family. She was formerly from the St. Louis area where she worked as a Clerk for the Ramsey Corporation for 24 years. She was married to Wilbert Charles Harrison and he preceded her in death. She was a Christian and member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbert Charles Harrison, five brothers, Arthur, Clarence, Raleigh, Amos and Edgar Hicks, three sisters, Opal, Hazel and Ruth and three infant siblings.
Clara is survived by two brothers & their spouses, Robert & Julia Hicks, Beebe, Arkansas and Leano & Joana Hicks, Harrison, AR, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Clara will be Mon., 2:00 p.m., Oct. 11, 2010 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Hicks Cemetery in Theodosia, MO. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Harlin Howerton.
