CLARA SYLVIA TAYLOR
Clara Sylvia Taylor, 87, of Gainesville, MO, passed away on June 15, 2014 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on September 6, 1926 in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of Wellington and Mary (Kuehne) Ecklin.
Sylvia married Eugene Webb of Mammoth, MO in 1945 and to this union six children were born. Sylvia was a long time employee of Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, AR. In May of 1992, Sylvia was united in marriage to Noah Taylor. They have enjoyed a wonderful 22 years together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Sylvia is survived by her husband Noah Taylor of the home; five children Penny Webb, Bruce Webb and wife Martha, Kirk Webb and wife Debra, John Webb and wife Susie, and Kenton Webb; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters June Armentrout and Charlotte Himmler.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wellington and Mary Ecklin; her eldest son Tommy Webb; one daughter-in-law Judy Webb; and three siblings John Ecklin, Mary Liona Berg and Dale Ecklin.
Funeral services for Sylvia will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Bro. Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. The family asks that you dress casual, yet respectful. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to: Riverways Hospice; 114 E. Main St.; West Plains, MO 65775 or to the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
