Clarence Rogers, 58 years, 6 months, and 7 days old, passed to Heaven on July 1, 2016 at his home with his wife, Shelly and family by his side.
Clarence was born December 25, 1957 in Yelleville, AR to Sam Clarence and Nellie Jane (Brown) Rogers. He graduated from Forsyth High School.
Clarence and Brenda Lumley were united in marriage and to this union three children were born, David, Derrick and Michelle.
On June 17, 1994 Clarence and Shelly Hedrick were united in marriage in Goodhope, MO and to this union two children were born, Samantha and Dylan.
Clarence worked as a Foreman for Southern Construction Co. as a skilled Tree Trimmer and an Electrical Lineman.
He was a Mason with the Forsyth Chapter. He enjoyed working, tinkering on chain saws, hunting, fishing, watching western and action movies, and playing basketball with his kids and grandkids!
Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Sam Clarence, two brothers, Bud and Dalton Rogers, and brother-in-law, Richard Mitchell.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Shelly Rogers, Bradleyville, MO, five children and their spouses; David & Melinda Rogers, Derrick & Katelyn Rogers, Michelle Rogers, Samantha Rogers and Dylan Rogers, his mother; Jane Rogers Walker, Bradleyville, MO, seven grandchildren; Brady, Madison, Brett, Brock, Kaydence, Easton, and Lexi, siblings; Geneva Stice, Ada Marie Mangan, Eldo Rogers and Sammy Rogers his in-laws; Ralph & Wanda Hedrick, sister-in-law, Lisa Mitchell, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Clarence will be Wed., July 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial in the Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Jack Clemans and Rev. Vernon Fuller. Memorials may be made to Bradleyville Fire Dept. P.O.
