Claude Eustache de Bogdan, 78 years, passed on July 2, 2009 in his home in Ava, MO. Claude was born April 19, 1931 in Yonkers, NY to Oscar and Romana (Olgee) de Bogdan.
Claude was a resident of the Ava community since 1975 moving from Berea, OH. On September 27, 1983 Claude and Nancy Schibler were united in marriage in Gainesville, MO. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. Claude was a pilot and loved flying. He worked as a Research Engineer with NASA for 24 years.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Claire, one sister, Gloria Spangler and a grandson, Johnny de Bogdan.
Claude is survived by his wife, Nancy de Bogdan, Ava, MO, two sons, John de Bogdan & wife, Genevieve and Claude D. de Bogdan all of Ava, MO, two great grandsons, Cameron and Jayden, a nephew, Jamie Spangler and other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
