Obituary

CLAUDE 'BUB' LANDSDOWN

We all knew him as Bub…but he was born Claude Landsdown on March 11, 1947 in Isabella, Missouri. His parents were William "Bill" Landsdown and Biddie Hettie Snider. His parents were married in 1933, and to this marriage came 14 children. Of these children 7 proceeded Bub in death, and he is leaving behind 6 siblings, Carl Junior of Joplin, Troy of Calico Rock, AnnaBell of Springfield, Coy, George, and Carmen all of Gainesville.

Bub went to the 6th grade in school, and from then went on to work on local farms, haul hay and cut many a rick of wood. He thought everyone should make time to fish and hunt. If you wanted to make Bub happy just take him a mess of fish or squirrel, and we can not forget a good old rolled Prince Albert.

Bub never married or had any children, but he loved children, and children always loved "Uncle Bub". He is leaving behind 9 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, and many fishing buddies.

When you ask people to describe Bub you always got the same reply: Always laughing, a hard worker would never harm anyone, and MY BEST FRIEND.

Bub left us on July 7, 2007. He will be put to rest in Isabella Cemetery.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Isabella Cemetery with Jim Kyle officiating. Pallbearers will be Will Landsdown, Andrew Walrath, Rusty Watson, Kevin Watson, David Bauer, Mike McCullough, Bob Kelley, and Jim Smith.
