Clifton Dale Harrison, 72 years, 8 months, 7 days old, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri.

Clifton was born December 12, 1952, in Douglas County, Missouri, to Elmer and Zola (Thurman) Harrison.

He was raised in the Baptist faith.

Clifton enjoyed horses and showed Perchereon Draft Horses.  When he was younger he was a volunteer fireman and EMT.  Clifton enjoyed scuba diving and was an avid reader.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents; cousin, Billy Strong; cousins, Edwin and Pamra Thurman; niece, Becky Nichols; great-niece, Trista McIntire; and great-nephew, Mickey J. McIntire.

Clifton is survived by his siblings, Helen Blackwood, Shilah McIntire, Clifford and Gwen Harrison, and Twyla Creason, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be at a later date. Burial of cremains will be in the Girdner Cemetery at a later date. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
