Connie Lea James, 68, of Theodosia, MO passed to heaven on July 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1943 in Kansas City, KS to Lloyd and Elinor (Shaw) March.
She graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1961 and then went on to receive her LPN license. On February 22, 1963 she was united in marriage to Don James in Bonner Springs, KS. She worked for many years in the nursing field and spent ten of those years working as a Hospice Nurse. She loved her Hospice nursing. Don and Connie lived in Lenexa, KS for 30 years before coming to the Theodosia, MO area in 2004. She loved the lake community. She enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. She loved nature and traveling, but her biggest love, however, was her dogs. Connie was a Christian and member of the First Christian Church in Bonner Springs, KS.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Elinor March. She is survived by husband Don James of the home in Theodosia, MO; one son Brendon James and his wife Sharon of Overland Park, KS; one grandson Zachary James; and one brother Harold March of Lenexa, KS.
