Connie Souder

Connie Jo Souder, 62 years, 5 months, and 11 days old, passed away on February 14, 2015 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO with her family by her side.

Connie was born September 3, 1952 in Springfield, Missouri to Charles and Geneva (Parmer) Stewart. She grew up in La Puente, California and graduated from Orange County High School.

Connie and Charles (Todd) Souder were united in marriage on February 3, 1973 in Souder, Missouri and to this union three children were born.

Connie was a house wife and a loving devoted mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed her dogs, canning, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Connie was preceded by her parents, one brother, Troy Stewart, and two sisters, Charlene Magoon and Sharon Dacomas.

Connie is survived by her husband, Charles (Todd) Souder, three children, Leon and Renee Souder, Debbie and Jason Sisney, Dusty Souder, six grandchildren, Evan Sisney, Samuel Sisney, Makayla Souder, Katelyn Souder, Newt Souder, and Wyatt Souder, two brothers, Kenneth Stewart and wife Martha of Ava, Herschel Stewart of Squires, one sister, Leslie Griffin of West Plains and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Connie will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd. Visitation will be Tuesday an hour before service time. Burial in the Souder Cemetery Wasola, MO. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
