Creeda Maxine (Miller) Brown
Noble, MO
Creeda Brown, 90 years, died on December 29, 2013 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.
She was born August 29, 1923 in Toledo, MO to Henry Thomas and Bina Magdeline (Plumb) Miller.
Creeda was a lifelong Ozark County resident. On September 20, 1941 Creeda and Robert Brown were united in marriage in Noble, MO and resided there.
She was a teacher and farmer working with livestock and milked cattle. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, geneology and visiting with family, friends and her pets. She was a Christian and a member of the Thornfield Baptist Church.
Creeda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert "Bob" Brown, brothers; Lloyd "Port", Raymond and Curtis Miller and sister, Donna Gogue.
Creeda is survived by her brother, Leroy Miller of Kansas and several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Creeda will be Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO. Visitation will be Sat. from 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins. Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery.
