Obituary

Graveside Services for Curtis Anthony Weatherholt, 63, of Tecumseh are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Clear Springs Cemetery in Tecumseh, MO with Brother David Evans officiating. Preceding the service, a lunch will be held at 11:30 AM for friends and family, at the adjoining Clear Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Weatherholt died June 28 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR.

He was born Feb. 4, 1957 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Paul Dean Weatherholt and Dolores Darlene Hendrix Weatherholt.

Mr. Weatherholt was an expert wood craftsman, specializing in custom made cabinetry and furniture. In addition to his love of working with wood, Curtis had a deep love for God and a particular fondness for his church family at the Clear Springs Baptist Church where he served as a Church Elder. His craftmanship and love for the church is in clear evidence throughout its interior.

Mr.  Weatherholt had a zest for life, a great sense of humor and was always available to help others out whenever and wherever he could. His life had such a positive impact on so many people.

He is survived by brothers Keith W. Weatherholt of Mountain Home, AR, Brian A. Weatherholt of Brookfield, IL, Sister in Law Charita T. Weatherholt of Mountain Home, AR and a step-mother Edna "Mitzi" Rayborn of Wiggins, MS., numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald D. Weatherholt of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Memorial contributions are requested to be made to the Clear Springs Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
