Dale Alderson, 75 years, 7 months, and 26 days old, passed to Heaven on February 23, 2016 at his home in Ava, MO.

Dale was born June 27, 1940 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Jesse and Hattie Mae (Bohannon) Alderson.

Dale and Della Eastep were united in marriage on November 26, 1971, at Springdale, Arkansas and they were blessed with two children.

Dale enjoyed fishing, watching western movies and traveling. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Dale was preceded by his wife, his parents, seven brothers, Darrell, Ralph, Wayne, Troy, Harold, Junior and Stephen, three sisters, Margie, Saundra and Mildred and one great-grandson, Kahden McGraw.


Dale is survived by one son, Tommy Alderson and wife Angie, one daughter, Raquel (Nikki) Schroeder and husband, Rick, seven grandchildren, Seth Schroeder, Breanna Wallace, Chaz Alderson, Sawyer Alderson, Delaine and Devin McGraw, Destiny and Nathan Garrard and Brittany Schroeder, one great-grandson, Hunter Garrard, two sisters, Donna Ray and Linda Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Dale will be Friday, February 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Ava, Missouri with burial in the Ava Cemetery with full military honors by Troy Herd American Legion Post 112. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25th from 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Luke George. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
