CLYDE DALE CLAYTON
Clyde Dale Clayton passed away Friday, April 13, 2007 at Gainesville Health Care Center, at the age of 65 years, 1 month, and 23 days. Dale was born on February 23, 1942 in Theodosia, Missouri to Jack Clayton and Oveta (Kelley) Clayton. Dale worked many years in construction at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, laying terrazzo floors;
Then Dale moved back to Ozark County making his home here again.
He is survived by 3 children, sister Delores Ray of Wasola, Missouri and brother Jimmy Clayton of Theodosia, Missouri. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Oveta Clayton, one infant daughter, and brother Carl Eugene Clayton.
Funeral Services were held Monday, April 16, 2007 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Missouri with Ron Pinckney and Jim Kyle officiating. Burial followed at Hicks Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marlin Wallace, Phillip Smith, Craig Honeycutt, Alvin Honeycutt, Gaylord Kuntz, David Mahan, Rocky Sullivan, and Elza Loftis. Honorary Pallbearer was Dale Dethrow.
