Danny "Sparky" Carlton Forth,

Columbia, MO

Danny "Sparky" Carlton Forth, 58 of Columbia, the son-in-law of Mae Woolman of Lake Springs, Mo. and the late Bill Woolman, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Boon Hospital Center in Columbia.

He was born April 21, 1952 in Moberly, Mo. son of Robert Forth and Alma Burton.

Danny graduated from Moberly High School; he then attended Moberly Junior College, studying history.

He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for 25 years. He also had a great love for playing music on his harmonica, and guitar. In addition to his love for playing the harmonica and guitar he had a great love for his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his wife of 31 years, Katherine Forth, one daughter Kim Peterson, one son Kenny Stevenson, grandchildren Matthew, Katie, and Bella Peterson, Kenny, Paige, Cole, and Brook Stevenson, and a special cousin Jan Forth of Columbia, Mo, his mother Alma Burton, brother Robert Forth, and sister Carol Harlan of Moberly, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Forth, and grandparents Ralph and Sylvia Penrod, and Harley and Pauline Forth.

Visitation services will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Mo, Thursday, May13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. located at the Yates Cemetery east of Ava with Brother Dave Schawo officiating the services.
