Danny G. Hartgraves the son of Billy Gene Hartgraves and Rozella (Shelton) Hartgraves was born June 28, 1960 in Gainesville, MO and departed this life Aug. 17, 2008 at the age of 48 years 1 month and 19 days.
Danny was a resident of Thornfield, MO for several years. He was a farmer and enjoyed working with his cattle. Danny also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going on float trips. He loved reaching out to help other people and was a friend to all. Danny enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the countryside. He loved telling jokes and being one up on people. He was a hard worker and behind all his joking he was a soft soul. Danny was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Hartgraves, and a sister Anna Marie West. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Rozella Hartgraves Jenkins and Jim Jenkins, Wichita, KS, his loving companion, Janice Kasper, Thornfield, MO, one sister, Donna McCool, Wichita, KS, special nephew, who was like a son, Danny West, Jr., aunt, Joan Holt, Ava,MO, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, Aug. 22, 2008 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Rev. John Haskins officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornfield Cemetery.
