Danny Bruce Ousley
(September 3, 1951 - January 11, 2017)


Danny Bruce Ousley, 65 years, 4 months, and 8 days old, passed to Heaven on January 11, 2017 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, Missouri.

Bruce was born September 3, 1951 in Springfield, MO to Daniel Wayne Ousley and Gaylene (Cooper) Freeman.

He was a veteran of the Marines and was very proud of his service. Bruce found comfort in his relationship with the Lord in his later years of life.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Williams and 3 grandchildren of Henderson, Arkansas, his mother, Gaylene Cooper Freeman and Thomas L. Freeman of Frisco, Texas, sister Betsy Freeman Lowe of Dallas, Texas, brother Thomas W. Freeman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Uncle Bob Cooper, Mountain Grove, Missouri, his step-mother Polly Ousley of Ava, numerous cousins and many friends.

A memorial service for Bruce will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel with full military honors by Troy Herd American Legion Post 112 and Marine Detail. Burial of cremains will be in the Ava Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
