DARRELL LEE CRISP

Darrell Lee Crisp, 74, of Gainesville, MO passed away on February 7, 2013 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. He was born in West Plains, MO on September 11, 1938 to Horace and Earlene (Looney) Crisp.

Darrell was raised in Gainesville where he graduated from Gainesville High School in 1956. Shortly after graduating he married his high school sweetheart, Patty Merrill, and eventually started a family. He worked in stave mills and retired from Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, AR. Darrell enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing and coaching basketball, baseball and softball.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father Horace and his wife Patty Crisp. He is survived by his mother, Earlene Crisp; three sons Dana Crisp and wife Marsha, Monty Crisp and wife Jana, and Lane Crisp; one daughter Shannan McGee and husband Keith; nine grandchildren Kasey, Nikki, Lakyn, Haley, Montana, Makinzi, Jamon, Easton and McCartnie; and two great grandchildren Cooper and Hudsyn all of Gainesville, MO.

Funeral services for Darrell will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Bro Dale Roberts officiating.
