David Wayne Davidson, formally of Gainesville, MO passed away on August 4, 2025 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 21 days. With him at his time of death were his beloved daughters, Samantha and Sandi, his mother Loretta Davidson, brother Gary, sister Carolyn, closest family and his lifelong and best friend Kerry.

David drove trucks all over the country most of his life. That was his calling. When he wasn't driving, he was racing, fishing or hunting. He loved to go to Colorado in the fall to hunt mule deer.

As per his wishes, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Chapel in Gainesville, MO.

The family would like everyone to know that he treasured each and every visit he had after coming to Gainesville Healthcare Center. The family wishes to thank all who helped care for David while he was there. They did a wonderful job. A very special thank you to Kerry Robbins, who was there every day and usually more than once a day.
