David Lee Mello, 66, of Pontiac, MO passed away July 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1955 in Livermore, CA.

David was a kind, loving husband, father and grandfather. He grew up in Livermore where he resided until moving to Pontiac, MO in 2017. He owned and operated a little resort in Pontiac until his death with his wife Misty.

He is survived by his wife Misty Mello of Pontiac, MO; his son Steven Mello of San Louis Obispo, CA; two grandkids Liam and Keira Mello; his father Doyle Johnson of South Dakota; three sisters Melody Hoffman, Connie Caporin; and Teresa Schonberg; three stepdaughters Meagan Yeti, Arielle Kirvan, Allison Kirvan, and their sons Willy & Torin.

David will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed by his family and many friends.

There will be no services at this time. His wish was to be cremated and scattered in his favorite camping spot in Clarksfork, CA where he used to frequent as a boy in the boy scouts and became the youngest Eagle Scout.
