DAVID FREDRICK OELKE
David Oelke, 69, of Gainesville, MO passed away on May 26, 2015 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. He was born on July 26, 1945 in Nebraska City, NE, the son of Fredrick and Irene (Schreiner) Oelke.
David grew up in Paul, NE. On January 6, 1967 he was united in marriage to Donna Reed. They moved to the Ozarks that same year and settled in Ava, MO. In 1985 they moved to Gainesville. David loved his home and enjoyed collecting guns. He was a very loving husband and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law Verlin Koke; and one nephew Garry Trout. He is survived by his wife Donna Oelke of the home in Gainesville; his sister Kay Trout and husband Sonny of Fremont, NE; sisters-in-law Ardith Reed of Gainesville, MO, Pat Koke of Seymour, MO and Sandi Riley and husband Ed and their daughter Diana of Kansas City, KS; nephews Ron Trout of Omaha, NE; Shawn Koke and wife Susan and their son Jacob of Plattsmouth, NE; nieces Debra Trout of Council Bluff, NE, Christina Mase and husband Gene of Seymour, MO ; and great niece Brandy Koke of Seymour, MO.
