Obituary

Dawn Collison

Ava, Missouri

Dawn Collison, 61, of Ava, Missouri, died November 18, 2016 at her home due to complications from cancer.

Dawn was born April 5, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carole Amtsfield, formerly of Perkiomenville, PA and brother, John Amtsfield formerly of Boyertown, PA.

Dawn is survived by her husband Charles Chuck Collison, and three daughters Melanie Tarrant, Robin Hatfield, and Amy Karsten of Ava, MO.
Dawn is also survived by her sister, Carole Faust, and brother Doug Amtsfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, whom she deeply adored.

Dawn attended school in Pennsylvania and was proprietor of County Line Carpets.

She was a proud Christian and misguided vegetarian. She was a lifelong lover of animals, especially of horses and horseback riding. She and her husband cared for numerous horses on their Missouri ranch.

Her enormous personality, wealth of selflessness and friendly smile will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends. Private services are being planned. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Kutz Car Clinic's Cancer Grant Service, as they were very helpful during her treatment.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
