Daymon Milligan

Ava, Missouri

Daymon Earl Milligan, 66 years, 3 months, 11 days old, passed away on July 1, 2018 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO with his family by his side.

Daymon was born March 20, 1952 in Kirksville, Missouri to Harold and Clara (Clark) Milligan.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era while stationed in Germany.  Daymon was a Christian and a hard worker and full of fun and jokes. He was retired from working as a Carpenter and had also worked for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. He loved  carpentry work, building and creating things like kitchen cabinets, remodeling etc.

On December 22, 2001 Daymon and Brenda Price were united in marriage in Ava, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara, two brothers, John and Roy Dale Milligan, brother-in-law, Byron Keune, and his in-laws, Doy & Emogene Price.

Daymon is survived by his wife, Brenda of Ava, his step son, Brendan Price, Ava, a brother, Clark Milligan & good friend, Joyce Lindsay, Sumner, MO, two sisters, Mary Margaret & Phil Hillerman, Washburn, MO and Lori Keune, Laclede, MO, nephew, Beau McKenzie, niece, Jennifer Adams, great nieces and nephews, Allyson Santo, Londyn and Tucker Adams, Cole, Annika, and Liam McKenzie, and other extended family and friends.

Graveside services for Daymon will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ava Cemetery, Ava, MO with full military honors by the Troy Herd American Legion Post 112 and U.S. Army.  Visitation will be prior to service on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava. Officiating will be Pastor Marvin Loftin. Memorials may be made to the family as a Love Offering. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. July 21, 2018 there will be a celebration of his life near his hometown of Laclede, MO.
