DEBBIE PARSLEY

Debbie Parsley passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, while vacationing in Florida with Jeannie and Everett. She was 48 years, 11 months, and 27 days old. Debbie was born on May 25, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Leroy Tigue and Virginia (Webster) Tigue. Debbie had been married 15 years. In 1995 she was diagnosed with Lupus. She moved to Texas in May of 2000 to live with Jeannie. Later, Roman was born and Debbie said" You're not going to need me anymore—you have a baby of your own." Jeannie advised Debbie that she couldn't be more wrong, that she was a tremendous help with Roman as a teacher and a spoiler. Thirteen years were between Debbie and Jeannie. Their mom, Virginia, worked 2 jobs and Debbie helped to raise Jeannie, now she was helping raise Roman. For the last few years she spent half the year with mom and half the year in Texas with Jeannie.
Debbie loved children, serving others, cooking, shopping, ice cream, Christmas time, and nursery. She worked at Church here in Missouri and in Texas. She carried everyone else's burdens and never carried a grudge. Debbie was flexible, easy going, easy to get along with, and never made an enemy.
Life peppered her with various emotional and physical hardships and pain, but she always expressed only joy, a sunny outlook, optimism, and spiritual beauty.
Debbie survived by her mother Virginia Farmer of Thornfield, Missouri, sister Jeannie Willis and husband Everett of Aubrey, Texas; brother Lee Tigue and wife Greta of Kansas City, Kansas.
