DELANO R. DANIEL

Delano R. Daniel, 84, of Mt Vernon, MO passed away January 17, 2018 at the Mt Vernon Place Care Center. He was born July 7, 1933 in Gainesville, MO, the son of Murl W. and Willa O. (Loftis) Daniel.

Delano attended school to the eighth grade at Nottinghill in Ozark County. He worked most of his life as a handyman, and was known to fix just about anything he got his hands on. He mowed lawns and enjoyed working and tinkering with small machinery.  He loved his music and watching TV. He was a loving and caring brother who will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Daniel is survived by one sister Donna Mills of Mt Vernon, MO; one brother Harold Daniel and wife Pauline of Stotts City, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister June Stewart.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Sims Cemetery with Jimmy Kyle officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
