Chester Delbert Twitty, Jr.

Delbert Twitty, Jr., 82 years, 7 months, and 25 days old, passed away on, February 6, 2022 at his home with family by his side.

Delbert was born June 12, 1939 in Wasola, Missouri to Chester Delbert, Sr. and Edna (Walker) Twitty.

Delbert was in the Army for six years.

Delbert and Joyce Twitty were united in marriage on April 16, 1958 in Squires, Missouri and to this union two children were born.

Delbert enjoyed playing softball and bowling.  He was an excellent bowler and traveled all over bowling.  He loved to garden and raise his cattle.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Bernece Miller, Irene Welch, Okema Haden, and Allene Jackson.

Delbert is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Chester Twitty, III, and Deanna Lynn Brown and her husband, Perry, Nixa, MO; grandchildren, Gail Marie Michael, Dustin Davis and wife, Angelique, and Ashley Brown; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Sadie, Bayleigh, Mason, and Oliver; sister, Carol Adkins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial of cremains will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wasola, MO at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wasola, MO.  Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri
