Della Mae Alderson

Della Mae Alderson, 66 years, 2 months, and 25 days old, passed to Heaven on June 2, 2015 at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO, with her family by her side.

Della was born March 8, 1949 in Low Gap, Arkansas to Emery and Blanche (Villines) Eastep.

Della Eastep and Dale Alderson were united in marriage on November 26, 1971, at Springdale, Arkansas and they were blessed with two children.

After working several years at local banks, Della retired. Aftering retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Della was preceded by her parents, two sisters, Betty Chambers and Nina Burgess, three brothers, Lonnie Eastep, Russell Eastep and Donnie Eastep, and one great-grandson, Kahden McGraw.


Della is survived by her husband, Dale, one son, Tommy Alderson and wife Angie, one daughter, Raquel (Nikki) Schroeder and husband, Rick, seven grandchildren, Seth Schroeder, Breanna Wallace, Chaz Alderson, Sawyer Alderson, Delaine McGraw, Destiny Garrad and Brittany Schroeder, one great-grandson, Hunter Garrad, one sister, Jean Ann Pruett and a host of other relatives and friends.


A local visitation for Della will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Ava, Missouri. Funeral services for Della will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with visitation from 9:00 A.M. to service time at the Temple Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas with burial in the Rogers City Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Luke George and Pastor Wade Allen. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
