DELMA JEANNETTE (FULTON) LLOYD

Delma Jeannette (Fulton) Lloyd, 81, of Pontiac, MO, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on February 7, 1935 in St Louis, MO, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Hunt) Fulton.

On April 14, 1956, Delma was united in marriage to John A. Lloyd Jr and to this union four sons were born, John A. Lloyd III, James K. Lloyd, Kenneth D. Lloyd and Thomas E. Lloyd. Delma and John lived in Florissant, MO for 26 years before retiring to Ozark County. They made their home near Bull Shoals Lake in Pontiac, MO in 1986. Since that time Delma has enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the Ozarks. During her retirement years, she has volunteered her time working as an election worker. She will be missed for her compassion and love of others.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Lloyd Jr. of the home in Pontiac, MO; three sons John A. Lloyd III, Kenneth D. Lloyd and wife Karen, Thomas E. Lloyd and wife Angela; seven grandchildren: Thomas E. Lloyd Jr. and wife Allyson, James R. Lloyd and wife Rachel, Kristin N. Lloyd, Michael J. Lloyd, Samantha Lloyd, Dominic M. Lloyd and Andrew M. Lloyd; four great grandchildren: Jack Lloyd, Ava Lloyd, Alivia Lloyd and Thomas Lloyd III; two sisters Barbara (Fulton) Niemann and husband Thomas, Paulette (Fulton) Thornton and husband Joseph; sister-in-laws Jeannette Durrer and husband Russell and Jackie Kuechenmeister.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Elsie Fulton; one son James K. Lloyd; her father-in-law John Lloyd, mother-in-law Olivia Lloyd; brother-in-law Harold Kuechenmeister; sister-in-law Patricia Campbell and husband Alexander Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Father Paul Wightman officiating. Burial will be in the Price Place Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, February 26th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Pontiac Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
