Delsie M. Delp, 90 years, passed away on March 26, 2013 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, MO.
Delsie was born December 22, 1922 in Pondfork, MO to James Henry "JIM" and Rose Belle (Guthery) Bradley.
Delsie was a resident of Belton, Missouri. She was a retired Beautician and also had worked for Dupont in Kansas City, MO.
In 1945 Delsie and Herschel Kenneth Delp were united in marriage in Kansas City, MO and to this union one daughter, Connie was born. Delsie was a Christian and a member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Delsie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herschel Kenneth Delp, a daughter, Connie J. Searing, one great grandson, Joey Searing, five brothers, Wilbur, Jack, Bill, Gene and Clyde Bradley and two sisters, Bess Vermillion and Lula Howerton.
Delsie is survived by two grandchildren, Chet Searing & Tracy Anevalo, 3 great-grandchildren, Jeanessa Anevalo, Dustin Brunner and Tyler Toomay, many nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law, Jean Swearengin, Belton, MO and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Delsie will be Friday, March 29, 2013, 10:00 a.m. in the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
