Dennis Lawson, 66 years, 5 months, and 5 days old, passed away on, October 6, 2021 at his home in Thornfield, Missouri.

Dennis was born on May 1, 1955 in Gainesville, Missouri to Arnold Edward and Geraldine (McDaniel) Lawson.

Dennis enjoyed sitting on his front porch watching deer.  He also enjoyed deer hunting and going to Kansas on pheasant hunts. He loved his family and always was ready to take Wiley on a four wheeler ride.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Lawson; sister, Audean Watson; and two brother-in-laws, Raymond Johnson and Darrel Watson.

Dennis is survived by three daughters; Melissa Teubner and husband, James, Ashley Lawson(Chris Swindell) and Mackenzie Lawson; five grandchildren, Hannah, Payton, Faith, Grace, and Wiley; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Charleigh, and Joseigh; sister, Jeanette Johnson; sister-in-law, Bulah Lawson; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Rick Pugh and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside funeral service for Dennis will be Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Thornfield Cemetery with burial to follow.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.  Officiating will be Pastor Ray Dobbs. Memorials may be made to the Thornfield Cemetery.
