Denzil Earl Guthery, 62 years, 5 months, 22 days old, passed away on December 31, 2017 at his home with his wife, Pam and family by his side.
Denzil was born July 9, 1955 in Springfield, MO to Damon Earl and Maxine (Davis) Guthery.
Denzil was a veteran and career Air Force Aviation Mechanic for 21 years.
He served also as a Master Sergeant and served in the Desert Storm War.
On Feb. 14, 1983, Denzil and Pamela Jo Bair were united in marriage in Austin, TX and to this union they were blessed with five children.
Denzil was a Christian. He also was a Mason and served as twice Master with the Sun City Lodge in Peoria, AZ. He loved spending time on his farm and loved traveling with family. Denzil was always game for a new adventure!
Denzil was preceded in death by his father, Damon Guthery, and his step father, Norman Rosseau.
He is survived by his wife, Pam, five children, Amanda Bee, John Guthery, Laura Bowling, Tia Bushong and Mary Guthery, his mother, Maxine Guthery Rosseau, Ava, MO, eight grandchildren, two sisters, Anna Guthery and Jane McMillan, and brother, David Guthery, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Denzil will be Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial of his cremains in the Ava Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Air Force.
