Dewey Glenn Simpson, 90 years, 8 months, 2 days old, passed away on September 20, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Health Care with his wife Louise by his side.
Glenn was born January 18, 1928 in Squires, Mo to Harry Newton and Tressie (Thompson) Simpson.
Glenn was a United States Navy Veteran. He served during WWII and the Korean Wars. Glen was a retired Machinist with a roofing company in Kansas City, MO.
On November 18, 1981,Glenn and Louise Boles were united in marriage in Ava, MO.
Glenn was a Christian and had attended the Black Oak Church. He was a member of the Troy Herd American Legion Post 112 and the VFW #5993.
He enjoyed doing woodworking and machine work and sharing his crafts with all his friends and family. He loved playing music, especially playing his Martin guitar. Glenn loved being with people and never met a stranger.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry Simpson, and one step son, Cary Ray Tann.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of Ava, one son, Mark Simpson, two step sons, Michael and Jerry Tann of Kansas City, MO, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Glenn are being held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with military honors by the Troy Herd American Legion Post 112.
