Dexter Robert Rowe, 54, of Bakersfield, MO, passed away May 7, 2022, at his residence. He was born August 25, 1967, in Gainesville, FL, with his twin sister Debra to parents Virgil Rowe and Joyce (Rothhammer) Rowe.

Dexter was a graduate of Mountain Home High School. He was a fantastic artist and was named the Arkansas Artist of the Year in high school. Dexter loved to draw and work with his hands. He spent much time as a tradesman helping to remodel homes. Dexter loved the outdoors and even spent time working in Alaska. In the last few years, Dexter found joy in being with family and helping serve at church. He loved the Lord.

Dexter is survived by his son Uriah Rowe (Sarah), Daughter Emily Anderson (Mikey), granddaughter Crimson Joyce Rowe, his twin sister Debra Rowe Houghton (Corky), brother Danny Rowe, nieces Haley Houghton Antonescu (AJ), Kelsey Houghton, Leah and Rebekah Rowe, and nephew Chase Houghton.

Dexter is preceded in death by his parents Joyce Rothhammer Rowe Reasons Walker, Virgil Rowe, and stepfather Ansel Reasons.

Family visitation will be at 5:00 p.m., and memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the New Life Bible Way Church in Gamaliel, AR. Bob and Susie Miller will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to New Life Bible Way Church, 225 CR 241, Gamaliel, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
