Diane Mary James, 57 years, 7 months, 19 days old, passed away on October 23, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.

Diane was born March 4, 1962 in Seattle, WA to Ezra B. and Mary Elizabeth (Hughes) Giffin. She was a Certified Medical Technician. She also worked at the Kings Food Pantry in Seymour. She enjoyed playing bingo and being around her friends, and loved watching western movies and listening to country music.

Diane and John Douglas James were united in marriage on June 28, 1986 at Basher Church and were blessed with one son, Christopher.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Mary. She is survived by her husband, John of the home in Seymour, one son, Christopher James of Seymour, MO, one brother, Charles Giffin of Springfield, MO, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Burial of her cremated remains will be near her parents in the Dyer Cemetery, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to the Kings Food Pantry in Seymour, MO.
