DIXIE MARIE COLLINS
Dixie Marie Collins, 63, of Gainesville, MO passed away on November 2, 2013 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR after a long battle with cancer. Dixie was born November 12, 1949 in Manilla, AR, the daughter of Clarence Collins and Cuba (Lamb) Collins. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1967.
Dixie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by one son Rob Collins; grandchildren Seth and Lydia Collins; great-grandson Marshall Dale Collins and twin sister Janet Collins, all of Gainesville, MO; one sister-in-law Lavern Collins of Midway, AR and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Helen Jean, Wanda, W.D. "Dub", and Guy Collins.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in the Pontiac Cemetery, Pontiac, MO with Jim Kyle officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to Pontiac Cemetery or Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis, 4381 W. Pine Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108.
