Don Eldridge "Punk" Hicks

Don Eldridge Hicks, 80 years old passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in Oregon with his family by his side. Don was born on June 27, 1945, in Blanche, Missouri to Orville and Ruth (Lambert) Hicks.

Don was raised in Douglas County, Missouri. He lived and drove a truck in Missouri, Washington, and Oregon.

He stayed in Oregon from about 2007 on.

He enjoyed driving trucks across the country, playing the guitar, and singing.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Rocky; and a sister, Wava Barnhart.

He is survived by his children Randy Hicks, Cindy Smith, Donna Long, and Les Johnson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Wilma Lee Hamby; many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

Memorial Services for Don will Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with a visitation prior to the service at 9:00 A.M. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Burial of his cremains will be in the Denlow Cemetery.
