DONALD WAYNE CAGLE

Donald Wayne Cagle, 63, of Peel, AR passed away December 26, 2017 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born May 8, 1954 in Harrison, AR, the son of John Henry and Linnie Bell (Scott) Cagle.

Wayne grew up in Peel, AR. In 1973 he married Julia Jennings of Protem, MO and had one daughter, Angela Dawn Cagle.  His second marriage was to Sandra Coffman of Harrison, AR in 1979. The couple had one son, Donald Wayne Cagle Jr. Wayne loved the outdoors and watching wildlife. For many years he raised Blue Heeler puppies to sell. Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to run trot lines and even worked as a guide on the lake. He also cooked the best catfish around. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by one daughter, Angela Dawn Cagle-Brake of Gainesville, MO; three grandchildren Dustin Gentle of Sherman, TX, Mason Smith of Harrison, AR and Jordan Brake of Protem, MO; three brothers Pate Cagle and wife Tracy of Lead Hill, AR, George Cagle and Leroy Cagle both of Peel, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Donald Wayne Cagle Jr.; his parents John Henry and Linnie Bell Cagle; and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Jeff Dotson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to service time. The family will have a private ceremony at a later date following cremation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
