DONALD RAY HATHCOCK

Donald Ray Hathcock died peacefully on March 11, 2010 at his home in Springfield, MO at the age of 72. Don was born to Arvis and Daphna Hathcock in Hardenville, MO on October 21, 1937.

The oldest of four siblings, he was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry. Throughout his life, Don maintained close bonds with his brother Leroy and his sister Phyllis.

There are no words to express Don's influence in the lives of his many friends and family members. But we will carry him with us in our hearts, and we wish him eternal peace.

Don is survived by his wife Aletta Hathcock of the home in Springfield, MO; two children, a son, Jeff Hathcock and wife Barbara of Tulsa, OK and daughter Diana Radke of Rogersville, MO; two grandchildren Taryn Quessenberry and husband Josh of Republic, MO and Devin Radke of Rogersville, MO; one daughter-in-law Jan Hathcock; one step grandson Keith Jones; two great grandchildren Kennedy and Jordin Quessenberry; one brother Leroy Hathcock and wife Delores of Springfield, MO; one sister Phyllis Hathcock of Gainesville, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Gainesville Church of Christ, Gainesville, MO with Joe Bright officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 PM to service time at the church building. Interment will be in the Patrick Cemetery, Gainesville, MO. Services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
