Donald "Don" Ray Nash, 77 years, passed away to his heavenly home on November 9, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Don was born December 16, 1943 in Ava, Missouri to Oden and Mildred (Gray) Nash.
Don was united in marriage to Reba Miller on May 12, 1963 and they were blessed with two children, Patty and Dwayne.
Don was a farmer and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on the farm with his family, and attending church at Cold Creek Cowboy Church. Don and several other area farmers began the National Farmers Organization (NFO). Don was a Board member at the Douglas County Veterans Memorial Association. Don adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Ronnie and Dave Nash), a great granddaughter (Alya Grace Barcus), and brother-in-law (Phillip Wayne Peterson).
Don is survived by his wife Reba Nash, daughter Patty Miller and Michael, son, Dwayne Nash and Teresa, grandchildren, Alysa, Aymee, Race, and Derek. Great grandchildren, Owyn, Olyvia, Hestyn, Ebanee, Gage, Nash, Bentley, Marceline, Raevyn, a great grandson on the way, brother and wife, Dean and Rhonda Nash, many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation for Don will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 9:00 AM with the funeral service at 10:00 AM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor John Williams. Burial will be in the Fannon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fannon Cemetary at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
