Donna Faye Luna
Springfield, Missouri
Donna Faye Luna, 67 years, 4 months, and 29 days old, passed into Heaven on March 25, 2026, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Donna was born on October 26, 1958, in Thornfield, Missouri to Fred and Mary Iva (Duckworth) Bruffett. She was the youngest daughter and the fifth of seven children.
She graduated from Ava High School in 1976.
Donna and Robert Michael (Mike) Luna were united in marriage on June 15, 1979, and together were blessed with four children; Derek, Sarah (Eli), Amanda (Mack), and Alex.
Donna was a Christian and attended Ava Full Gospel in Ava, Missouri and, most recently, attended Hope Church in Springfield, Missouri. She worked at Great Southern Bank in Ava for several years and was also the heart of her home, raising kids and then spoiling her grandbabies. To know her was to know true kindness and selflessness.
She enjoyed gardening, volunteering at her church and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Howard Wilson and Gary Harvill.
Donna is survived by her husband, Mike, four children and their spouses and five grandchildren that she adored (Ivey, Cora Faye, Erma, Reed and Quinnie Lou). She is also survived by her four sisters and two brothers, Judy Wilson, Sandra Harvill, Patty Cummins (David), Marilyn Dennis (Jerry), Bill Bruffett (Teresa) and Bob Bruffett (Jeanette); many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Donna will be Monday, March 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. Visitation will Monday at 1:00 PM to service time. Burial will be in the Ava Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Butch McCleary.
