A memorial service for David Donovan "Donnie" Miller, 75, of Gainesville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Frontier Baptist Church in Pontiac, MO with Bruce DeWeese officiating. In lieu of flowers and cards donations can be made to Sallee Cemetery. The family has honored Donnie's wish for cremation. Arrangements are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.

Donnie passed away September 17, 2020 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. Donnie was born on June 14, 1945, the son of Walter and Rosie Miller. He was a lifetime resident of Ozark County where he met the love of his life Beverly Houser Miller. Donnie and Beverly raised two children Brenda Brown and Larry Miller.

Donnie was a Godly man who loved his church and loved to tell others about Christ. He was a dedicated family man and loved to attend his grandchildrens' functions. One of Donnie's hobbies was fishing and he often invited others to go with him. He also enjoyed hunting with his family. Donnie was a loving husband, father and friend who will be missed by many.

Donnie is survived by Beverly Miller, wife of 50 years; one brother David Miller and wife Brenda of Gainesville, MO; two sisters Rosalie "Ro-Ro" King and late husband John King, Josie Woodward and husband Eddie of Gainesville, MO; daughter Brenda Brown and fiance Chris Jenkins of Gassville, Ar; son Larry Miller and wife Brandi of Gainesville, MO; 5 grandkids Ashton Jordan, Dawson Brown, Brexton, Brayden and Libby Miller; 3 great-grandkids Emree Hardison, Kaden, and Leigh Ann Jordan.

Donnie was preceded in death by his mother and father Walter and Rosie Miller; brothers Elmer, Eddie, Johnnie, Jimmy Miller and sisters Leona Piland and Kathy Howard.
