Donnie Pruiett

Donnie Lee Pruiett, 74 years, 11 months, 24 days old, passed away on, October 25, 2026, at Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield, Missouri with his family by his side.

Donnie was born November 1, 1951, in Dogwood, MO to Alva and Leola Mae (Lee) Pruiett.

He was raised in Douglas County, Missouri.

On March 1, 1970 Donnie and Ellen Jean Stout were united in marriage at Ava, Missouri and to this union four sons were born.

Donnie was retired from working as a Meatcutter in various locations for many years. His last job was working with his son, Shannon doing cosmetic auto repair. He also Pastored

and loved preaching God’s word. Donnie preached in many areas. After his stroke, his greatest desire was still to preach God’s word! He and Ellen Jean always attended church whenever they could.

He enjoyed going camping with his family; watching his sons and grandchildren play basketball or other sports. In addition he loved traveling with Ellen Jean whenever they could go. Donnie loved spending time with all his family and took great joy in teasing his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Darlene Stout.

Donnie is survived by his wife Ellen Jean; children and their spouses, Sean Pruiett, Shane & Kara Pruiett, Shannon & Joy Pruiett, and Sheldon & Meredith Pruiett; 11 grandchildren, Dakota, Destinee, Dayton, Kaedon, Bryce, Kinley, Malea, Taylor, Nayte, Drake, and Penelope; 6 great grandchildren; his in-laws, Linda Chamberlain, Ronnie Stout, and Jay Stout; many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Donnie will be Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial following in the Marshfield City Cemetery, 627 S. White Oak Street, Marshfield, MO. Visitation will be Thursday prior to the service at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Roy. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
