Dora June Stratford

Ava, Missouri

Dora June Stratford, 86 years, 8 months, 25 days old, passed to Heaven on January 8, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO with her family by her side.

June was born April 14, 1931 in El Reno, Oklahoma to George Allen and Nellie Maude Martin.

On July 16, 1949 June Martin and Nathaniel Stratford were united in marriage at Byers, KS and they were blessed with three children.

She was a loving mother and house wife.

June was a strong believing Christian.

She enjoyed collecting rocks and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her family.

June was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marjorie Stratford.

She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel, one son, Bob Stratford, two daughters, Sandy May and Sonya and husband, Mark Terpening and, one granddaughter, Amanda Stratford and husband, Aaron Kestner, one great-grandchild, Carter Kestner, one sister, Gloria Toland and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside service for June will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stratford Cemetery with burial to follow.  Officiating will be Pastor Neal Crum. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.  Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
