Dora Veronica "Vroni" Buff
Ava, MO

Dora Veronica Buff, 50 years, 10 months, and 6 days old, passed away on July 13, 2015 at her home in Ava.

Vroni was born September 7, 1964 in Davos, Switzerland to Paul and Ursina Veronica (Donatsch) Fopp. She was the youngest of four children.

On June 24, 1989 Vroni and Heinz Buff were united in marriage in Davos, Switzerland and to this union four children were born.

Vroni was a resident of the Ava community for 18 years
moving from Davos, Switzerland. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked in hospitals in Switzerland and also farmed on their mother's farm for eight years with Heinz before moving to Ava to farm. Vroni had achieved the highest level in education in Switzerland for Farming and Home Economics.

She was a Christian. Vroni enjoyed yoga, volleyball, organic gardening, traveling, photography, skiing and her animals. Amazingly, she knew all the lineage of her cattle and could name them by name. But, most of all her joy was being with her family.

Vroni was preceded in death by her father, Paul and brother, Christian. She is survived by her husband, Heinz Buff, Ava, MO, four children, Adrian Buff, Christina Buff, Sandra Buff and Kathrin Buff all of Ava, MO, her mother, Ursina "Vroni" Fopp, Davos, Switzerland, two sisters, Ursina Feuerstein and Eva Wagle and many other relatives and friends.


Memorial services for Vroni will be Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Family requests in lieu of flowers memorials to be made to Neighbor Helping Neighbor, P.O. Box 1011 Ava, MO 65608. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Freeman
