Doris Annabell Barber, 82 years, 0 months, and 6 days old, passed to heaven on April 28, 2014 at Ozark, MO.

Doris was born April 22, 1932 in Drury, MO to Thomas "T.J." and Cora (Bell) Driskell. She graduated from Dora High School.

Doris was a resident of Nixa for several years moving from Ava, MO. She grew up in the Blanche community. She was retired from working as a retail Clerk and Cook.She was a Christian and had attended the Gentryville Community Church. Doris enjoyed reading,crocheting,gardening and visiting with her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters; Dennis, Dwight and Drew Driskell, Vera Taylor, Gertrude Dobbs, and Vedith Deaver.

Doris is survived by four children and their spouses; Kathy Maddox, Nixa, MO, Kent & Eula Lee, Drury, MO, Jack & Gina Lee, Nixa, MO and Gary & Carolyn Barber, Mansfield, MO, three grandchildren; Kyle Maddox, Dustin Lee and Brittney Hensley, two great grandchildren; Ethan James and Logan Michael Hensley; two sisters; Wilma Cowan, Clever, MO and Madonna Turgon, St. Joseph, MO and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Doris will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Blanche Cemetery east of Ava. Visitation will be Sat. from 9:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Martin. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
