Funeral services for Dorothy Lee (Stone) Anderson, 92, of Howards Ridge will be held at 1:00 p.m. November 17, 2018, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Halbert Smith officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon to service time. Burial will be in the Udall Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson died November 13, 2018 at Gainesville Health Care Center in Gainesville.
She was born September 20,1926, in Bakersfield, MO, the daughter of Lige and Ida Stone. She moved to St. Louis in 1946 and met Junior Ralph Anderson from Mammoth, which they did not know each other until they met in St Louis in 1947 and they were married January 15, 1948 in a double ring ceremony with her cousin Joe White and his bride Vera in Pocahontas, AR. Dorothy and Ralph retired in 1988 and moved back to Ozark county in September of 1990. Mrs. Anderson was a devout Christian all her life and enjoyed quilting, cooking and spending winters in Texas in their RV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers and her husband, Ralph passed away in February 2018. Dorothy leaves behind two sons, Gary and his wife Nancy of St Peters, MO and Ricky of Howard's Ridge, MO. Mrs. Anderson was a proud grandmother of three and a great grandmother of five. Dorothy will truly be missed.
