Dwight Dean Elliott, 62 years, 2 months, 0 days old, passed away on May 5, 2017 at his home in Norwood with his family by his side.

Dwight was born March 5, 1955 at
Evans, Missouri to Eugene Oliver and Letha Mae (Metcalf) Elliott.

Dwight and Betty Upshaw were united in marriage on January 20, 1972 in Douglas County, Missouri and to this union three children were born.


Dwight enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joann Woodard and one brother, Richard Elliott.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Betty, three sons, Larry and April Elliott. Gary and Mindy Elliott and Scotty and Amy Elliott, nine grandchildren, Lily, Luke, Phillip, Sarah, Bradley, Kayla, Katlynn, Emily and Elizabeth, three brothers, Don and Jayme Elliott, Kenneth and Jeannie Elliott and Roy Elliott, two sisters, Virginia and Paul Bell and Juanita and Bill Harwell, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


A Graveside Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Evansdale Cemetery, Ava, Mo. Officiating will be Pastor Bobby Page. Cremation services under the care of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.

Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
