EARLENE HICKS
Earlene Hicks passed away Tuesday evening, October 23, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 89 years. She was born on June 22, 1918 in Hardenville, Missouri to Albert Blacksher and Edna (Cole) Blacksher. A life long resident of Ozark County, Earlene was a graduate of Gainesville High School. On October 18, 1939 Earlene and Jarrett Hicks were married in West Plains, Missouri. Jarrett passed away in 1986. A member of the Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church, Earlene is survived by her son Jim Hicks of Gainesville, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Edna Blacksher, husband Jarrett Hicks, and brother Eugene Blacksher.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 26, 2007, 10:00 AM, at Howards Ridge Cemetery with Dale Roberts officiating. Come and go visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
