Edith Mae Percifield, 100 years, passed to heaven on November 12, 2012 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.
Edith was born February 2, 1912 in Squires, MO to James and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Turner.
Edith was a lifelong resident of Douglas County. In 1935 Edith and Harold Graham were united in marriage and to this union four children were born. He preceded in death. On Feb. 16, 1962 Edith and Bleven Percifield were united in marriage and he also preceded in death.
Edith was a Christian and attended the Murray Church. She was a farmer and loved working in the outdoors. Most of all, Edith loved spending time with her family. A tradition she enjoyed was big Sunday family gatherings.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Graham and husband, Bleven Percifield, three children, Wanda Myers, Zola Somers and Richard Graham and son-in-law, Perry Lakey, six brothers, Clair, Homer, Rube, Glen, Etcyl and Cecil Turner.
Edith is survived by one daughter, Eula Lakey, Ava, MO, 15 grandchildren, five step grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Edith will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Murray Cemetery, Squires, MO. Officiating will be Rev. Tony Turner. Memorials may be made to Murray Cemetery.
