Edna May Hathcock

Funeral services for Edna May Hathcock, 80, of Niangua, will be held at
10:00 a.m. Friday, June 8th, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville,
MO., with Minister Bob Laymon officiating.
Edna passed away Tuesday, June 5th 2007,at her home. She was born
Oct. 1st, 1926, daughter of Joseph Hendricks and Mary Kallenbach, in
Keokuk, Iowa.
She was a lover of life, one who cherished everyone she knew. Not a
deeper love could be found, than for the love she had for God, family, and
children.Many would say that Edna was a woman blessed with the love
of her family and many friends, but this person believes that "we"
were the ones that were truely blessed. She will be missed, but fondly
remembered.
Edna will be laid to rest at Clear Springs Cemetery, next to her husband of
39 years, Archie B. Hathcock, who passed away Jan. 3rd, 1987.
She is survived by seven daughters, Louetta Carlson and husband Howard,
of Joplin, Maryily Hathcock, of Niangua, Catherine Russell and husband Don,
of Marshfield, Lola Marberry, of Niangua, Rita Cady and husband Steve, of
Kirksville, Louise Rhine, of West Plains, and Bonnie Lynn Hathcock, of Branson
West; five sons, Winston Hathcock, of Niangua, Stephen Plumb and wife Judy,
of Mansfield, Donald Hathcock and wife Cyndi, of Pamona, Joseph Hathcock
and wife Karla, of Gainesville, and Bruce Hathcock, of Kansas City; also surviving
are fourty-two grandchildren, sixty-three great-grandchildren, and eight great-
great-grandchildren.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie, and two sons,
Vanton Hathcock and Eugene Bonney.
